Architectural Designer Job at Pardi Partnership Architects, PC, Rochester, NY

  • Pardi Partnership Architects, PC
  • Rochester, NY

Job Description

About the opportunity

Pardi Partnership Architects is seeking an Architectural Designer with practical Revit experience who wants broad exposure across the full project lifecycle. You will work directly with partners, clients, contractors, engineers, and consultants on varied commercial and residential projects, including renovations, additions, adaptive reuse, and work involving existing buildings.

This is an in-office studio role in Rochester. The successful candidate will contribute across multiple active projects and grow toward increasingly independent project ownership.

What you will do

  • Develop and update Revit models for new and existing conditions.
  • Produce coordinated construction and contract documents for built projects.
  • Support work from field verification and design through permitting, bidding, and construction administration.
  • Coordinate with partners, clients, contractors, engineers and consultants.
  • Apply sound judgment about constructability, details and building components.
  • Manage priorities across multiple projects and communicate questions, risks and progress.

What you bring

  • Strong, hands-on Revit proficiency, including project setup, model development and drawing production.
  • Experience producing architectural construction or contract documents used for built work.
  • Understanding of whole-building coordination and constructability.
  • Ability to contribute across multiple project phases and concurrent assignments.
  • Comfort working directly with partners and external project stakeholders.

Preferred experience

  • Three or more years of relevant architectural experience. Candidates with different tenure may be considered based on demonstrated capability.
  • Renovation, addition, adaptive reuse, commercial, industrial, office or related project experience.
  • Client communication, consultant coordination, field verification or construction administration.
  • Small-firm or studio experience, or interest in moving from a specialized role into broader project work.
  • Knowledge of New York State building codes, zoning or accessibility requirements.
  • Active progress toward architectural licensure.

Why join Pardi

  • Broad project exposure rather than work limited to one phase or specialty.
  • Direct collaboration with the firm’s partners and meaningful client and jobsite involvement.
  • A compact, collaborative studio with room to expand your technical depth and project ownership.
  • Potential long-term growth toward partnership for the right person.
  • Licensure support through qualifying experience opportunities, partner sign-off on required hours, and payment of applicable ARE exam costs.

Compensation and benefits

  • Base salary: $60,000-$75,000, based on relevant experience and demonstrated capability.
  • Medical, dental and vision coverage with firm contribution.
  • IRA retirement plan with company match.
  • Firm-paid professional association memberships.
  • Free parking

How to apply

Submit your resume and, if available, representative work samples showing your role in Revit production, construction documents and projects that advanced into construction.
